To the Zoo!
My doll Jess and her friend Mackenzie got to go to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo today. Jess was super excited. (A little too intense if you ask me. Seriously, once you get her going...) Jess is totally a mischief maker and Mackenzie is so quiet. I felt kinda bad for Mackenzie today, she couldn't keep up with Jess even though Jess only had 3 hours of sleep last night! Jess got new pants to wear to the zoo, hence her staying up all night.(I think they turned out gorgeously!) I stayed up until 5 am just working on those pants. (It's a Liberty Jane pattern and it's fantastic!)

That was soo much fun, Courtney!!! That was the highlight of my night. It looked like so much fun. I keep saying I'm going to take one of my Gnomes around town to some of the Abraham Lincoln sites, but I'm always so lazy. But you've inspired me! By the way...are those signs of naked mole rats by the entrance sign real? With the hats on their heads? They look so odd, I thought maybe it was photoshopped or something. Great fun!!
ReplyDeleteThere really are signs with the naked mole rats in all kinds of clothing all over the zoo. I assume the people at the zoo photoshopped the clothing onto the pictures, but the one at the entrance is a huge sign. I think it's like a layered cardboard cutout type of thing. The signs are a hoot huh?
